Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Program in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (International Program)

Specific characteristics:

  • The first international program of the nation in Natural Resources and Environmental Management
  • A multidisciplinary in both theory and field practices with other organizations (Government, private and NGOs)
  • Graduate students will have the opportunity to participate in an internship or exchange program with renowned organizations with the overarching goal of achieving national and international sustainable development objectives.

General Qualifications:
- Completion or currently studying in Matthayom 6 from / at a core curriculum school or Grade 12 (US system) or Year 13 (UK system)
- Applicants from any study plan may appiy
- Or obtained GED Credential with a minimum score of 145 in each subject and 580 on all 4 subjects

Course Structure:
- Studying duration: 4 years (including internship)
- Total credits required: Not less than 123 credits
 • General Education Courses (not less than) 24 Credits
 • Specific Courses (not less than) 93 Credits
 • Free Electives (not less than) 6 Credits

Total tuition fee
  • Thai student: 45,000 Baht/Semester
  • Non-Thai students: 55,000 Baht/Semester (Health insurance is not included)

Program–level Learning Outcomes

At the end of the program, students will be able to:

PLO1: Solve the given problems or case studies of natural resources and environmental management, covering ecological processes, conservation biology, and the sustainable utilization of natural resources by integrating and applying the scientific principles and tools in accordance with academic principles and professional field.

PLO2: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing appropriate tools and equipment accurately and precisely for laboratory practice and fieldwork, adhering to established principles, standards, and guidelines.

PLO3: Conduct projects aimed at public utilization, protection, control, and restoration of natural resources and environmental quality, in accordance with academic principles and ethical standards of the professional field.

PLO4: Communicate information or knowledge pertaining to natural resources and environmental management to accomplish objectives, utilizing various media, tools, and information technology effectively as well as use English language proficiently to communicate with diverse stakeholders appropriately.

PLO5: Collaborate proficiently with others to attain the sustainable goal of natural resources and environmental management based on a participatory process involving stakeholders.

PLO6: Develop potential academically, professionally, and in citizenship to enhance knowledge, skills, and attitudes appropriately in alignment with academic advancements in the field of natural resources and environmental management in constantly changing of situations and environments.

1. Environmentalist (Practitioner Level) and Plan and Policy Analyst (Practitioner Level) positions specified in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand Government sector
      – Department of Environmental Quality Promotion
      – Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation
      – Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning Royal Forest Department
      – Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization)
      – The Biodiversity Based Economy Development Office (Public Organization)

2. Environmentalist and scientists in Thailand and international private sectors

3. Natural resources and environmental management experts in non-governmental organizations such as International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), and Zoological Society of London (ZSL)
